Why are you here?

Wed, Aug 23

Why does this program exist? What are its goals? Why are you here? During our very first meeting, we'll be trying to get oriented. "Business in Context" is the Sheedy Family Program's gateway course, which means that all (and only) students in the first year of their program take it. I'll explain why we set the course up the way we did, why we're covering the particular content we've selected, and ask you about the "big questions" you have about our course's central concepts: economy, enterprise, and society. We'll also use this as a chance to get to know each other a bit more and build some community.
