Why study business & the liberal arts together?
Business in Context is the gateway course for the Sheedy Family Program
This course introduces students in the Sheedy Family Program to big philosophical questions related to business — questions like "Can work be meaningful?” or “Can a capitalist society be just?” The course focuses on scholarship in the humanities with an eye toward application in today’s business world. Learn more about the program from student participants, its directors, and instructors of "Business in Context" by watching the video above, and explore the course by clicking around this website.
This course makes use of an interactive calendar. Everything you need to know about the course — what we're reading, what you should be thinking about, what you should be doing — is included either there or on the "Syllabus" page.
