Conferences: How are you doing?

Thu, Oct 13

We won't meet as a whole class today. Instead you'll conference with us one-on-one. Unlike the final Don Rags sessions, here you'll do most of the talking. You'll evaluate your survey responses from earlier in the term and your progress toward your goals. We’ll also ask you to assess the class dynamic and your role in it. A reminder that you can always access the Don Rags prompt on the Assignments page.

Learning goals - By the end of this session you will:

  1. Articulate your perceptions of your strengths and weaknesses as a reader, writer, dialogue partner, and class member
  2. Articulate your goals for the semester
  3. Hear feedback from your instructors on your self-perceptions

Do This:

  1. Attend your conference.
  2. Submit post-conference checklist. After your conference, fill out and submit this self-assessment checklist, which we’ll use to determine your grade.
