  1. Consider and evaluate alternative economy theories "between" socialism and capitalism
  2. Construct and argument for whether any of these alternatives are preferable to dominate ways of organizing the economy today
  3. Assess the feasibility of one of these alternatives in light of your beliefs about human nature, society, and other externalities
